Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Anyone getting it? I've got a copy pre-ordered as I'm a sucker and even though I don't have enough time to play the games I already have I'm getting this as well

Hopefully getting it instore tomorrow from morrisons. I leave England on Wednesday so if I don't have it tomorrow, I'll be sure to tell the wife to get my a copy before she picks me up in Cork.
It'll be good times. I don't mind buying new CoD games, I like it being the same as the last with obviously new maps/weapons, etc. I enjoy it. Main seller is the people I play with. GoW3 didn't last long, and not enough people own BF3 for me to buy it just yet. Been online just now and it's so different to how black ops plays. I'm not talking halo engine - cod engine in difference.. but I feel the difference probably due to how much I played black ops. Much like how MW2 was different to black ops I suppose. Online is going to take some getting used to. I'm always just going to go to the shop and get my games, can't trust online when I live where I do, not just Ireland, but rural.
Might get Skyrim tomorrow. Not sure I'll have all the time for it though, and it's a time needing game. I have CoD for now. I'm embarassed by how bad Bluebanes signature is

Got my copy yesterday mate, I never bought BLOPS as I wasn't that into MW2 but I'm liking the changes so far. Maps seem a bit small mind so I'll stand no chance of leveling up a sniper rifle (can't quick scope to save my life)... although there should be plenty of DLC on it's way!
Two things bug me so far though, one) matchmaking keeps putting me into games as they end, happened a few times last night... load into a game to load out! Two) the spawns are too close together as when a game starts everyone is pushing past each other, feels and looks like lag when you bump against someone else, unpleasant! However, loving the rest of it and don't really mind dying, doesn't seem to stop me leveling up which is great! |

BLOPS was well different to MW2, you might have enjoyed it. I loved BLOPS and played it a lot more than MW2, probably because I had people who played BLOPS all the time.
16 maps they have, there are only a few I absolutely hate, they are so small and doesn't leave you much room to kill and continue. I used to end up killing and dying right after because everyone always ended up close together. But I'm getting used to it now, much different to BLOPS which I feel was an easier game to play. Tried survival yet? Not given it a go myself. I'm embarassed by how bad Bluebanes signature is

I work the guns for max exp. Get them to 30 and move on.
I'm at level 80 and I'm unsure about prestiging... Only played about 15 hours but not sure I'll get another 15 hours to level up again! |
