How much will it be and is it a shop bought game but online or just online? Don't really know much about it but have enjoyed the previous games, not sure how it would work online though?

RE: Age of Empires Online
Think it's like £12 or something, it is free to play (can be bought in store or online for download). There will be alot of premium content which you can buy, but it's not necessary to have that content to play the game to it's full potential.

I played in it's beta and really enjoyed it.

Oh and it has achievements for your live account!

I like Age of Empires and an online version is great but they are going about it all wrong :/ shame really.

I hear calling MS is a painless process these days, heard positive things about people asking for new keys etc. At least they get your details which is the way they must look at it Tongue

I was the type of person that would spend a couple of hours getting their base looking perfect.

If anyone attacked me during my planning phase...they faced abuse.

Once planning phase was completed...I destroyed them. I'm a slow but deadly predator. Bit like real life really.

We should play some time. Just be sure to set aside about 12 hours for game time since we're both perfectionists with preparation on it Tongue

lol, I'm kind of the same with C&C games, I like to build up a base and get things sorted before raging war. I hate it when you're just starting to make some nice buildings and some nob comes along and starts shooting your harvesters!

You know pisses me of a lot, when I have to send my harvesters far away directly in the beginning. The risk off them getting shot is so high. Plus I consider harvester a waste off resources and time, which makes the agony worse when they get shot.

Can't remember which C&C it was but they had guns, saved them getting taken out by a lone solider.

Anyone play C&C4? Never played it and heard it was rubbish! That after the pretty good Red Alert 3!

I think i'm the same as everyone in aoe and c&c, gotta build up a base first and make it all perfect with minimal chance of people getting in whilst away.. always annoying when people decide to rush in and take out some buildings that you hate replacing, but aye c&c 3 gave harvesters guns, might have to look into getting this too i miss the days of aoe

Runs like a dog with 3 legs on my laptop, got myself up to level 3 so far just.

Lot of the early stuff is to simply train you how to play the game with the quests it offers.

Hoping it gets a lot deeper later on.

Not sure but it's not a very big install. Even if it was less than 3GB, you would be using up bandwidth by just playing it.
