Yeah that's the job Marcus. I've used the feedback given on G.I and two other forums to help compile a report and listed it as primary research.
I found the job through a Northern Ireland recruitment agency. I'm sure you could register your C.V with some places in England and checkout websites like monster.co.uk |

Cool, well good luck with the interview mate.
We've had some changes at work over the last couple of weeks and I'm not sure what job if any I'll have in a couple of months time. It's either stick it out and hope for the best or find something else and take voluntary redundancy. Should be interesting to say the least. |

Faith school fits you perfectly. If your aim is to destroy it. Not your aim? Sucks man. ----- I'm training horses, and going to get into taxidermy. I moved to Ireland where the job market is nothing compared to a lacking one in England, but at least in England I had jobs I could apply for. Living in the middle of nowhere isn't great for opportunities. So being self employed is important. I'd go back to uni if it weren't so far away. |

Weight up what's more important, money/experience or not being irritated. At least put up with it until you gain something else. Then you'll have monies to trip to Dublin. |

People give me unbroken horses, I break them in, and not in a sexual way, thats why I don't get paid so much. I'm currently waiting for supplys so I can start with my taxidermy. There's quite a bit of money in it, if you know where to look and what to do. I knew a guy in England who used to buy and sell taxidermy for mad amounts of cash. Thing is what I learned, people will pay you to do things you're capable of. I might even go into computer repair, everyone keeps telling me to do so. Anything to bring money in. I've done bar work in Kilarney as well, get a call when they need temp staff. My wife works in the local nursing home. (11-08-2011 16:09)Kooj Wrote: be a horse whisperer must be a few bob to be made down your way Indeed there is money in that, but is there money for it in Ireland? Actually, probably is. Could you not work with horses part-time to improve your skills and develop a customer base whilst maintaining a full time job elsewhere to provide a secure income?
Once the horse business takes off, dedicate all of your time to it. |

Yeah, that is what I aim for really. Taxidermy + horses as part-time. I said elsewhere I'd like a full time job, but litterally there is nothing I can find at the moment. They have this work placement here where you work for 9 months and don't get paid for it, you just get work experience. I've applied and applied just to get something, but no reply yet. I'm not sure I'd give up a full time job if I got one, the steady income is quite a security. |

(without going into detail) Sounds to me like your ticking most of the boxes for a digital communications executive role, something you should look into. Also Marcus, qualifications mean nothing. I've got 3 certificates from Uni and in every interview it all comes down to what experience I have to-date and how I would be able to carry out the position I applied for. Sharepoint is something I see regularly noted in job descriptions as a preferable platform required to have been used before by the applicant. Think you're selling yourself short. I've looked at roles within your sector in England before. Most of them are £30k + and would be suited to you. Just an idea. |

Well keep looking! With 7 years experience you're exactly what businesses are looking for.
Put together a fresh CV, sign up to some online recruitment sites and send off your CV. In most cases you won't have to fill out application forms but simply send your CV and a very short covering letter. |
